A Saguaro Lake Ranch Wedding
No question, a Saguaro Lake Ranch wedding is unforgettable. The Bulldog Cliffs create the most incredible backdrop for your rehearsal dinner and ceremony. You should schedule a tour if you’re thinking about getting married here just to see the grounds. The landscape makes it feel like an oasis without being out of touch with the natural surroundings.
The architecture is beautiful, too. The cabins are simple but comfortable. Like the main lodge, they’re all adobe, earth colors, and warm wood. The decor mixes vintage photography and traditional Southwest patterns with modern simplicity.
Here are a few things to keep in mind if you’re considering a Saguaro Lake Ranch wedding:
- Venue type: Indoor/outdoor
- Location: Mesa, AZ
- Capacity: 250 guests
- Starting Cost: $14,000 without lodging, $25,000 to book the cabins for two nights
This wedding venue includes all the basics you need in their wedding packages. You do need to bring in your own caterer, though. Think of it as an excuse to treat your friends and family to your favorite culinary experience. You can even bring in a food truck for cocktail hour or your reception.
The Perfect Destination Wedding Venue in Arizona
A Saguaro Lake Ranch wedding is ideal for locals and destination weddings. Maddie and Rachel’s families all came from California and Georgia, so the wedding had the feel of a destination wedding for a lot of people there.
Here are a few features that make this wedding venue so great for hosting a lot of out of town guests:
- Extensive Cabins: The Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch has 20 historic cabins on its grounds. They’re complete with air conditioning and modern amenities. You can book the whole resort, settle into the space for a long wedding weekend, and experience the best of Arizona’s outdoors right where you’re getting married.
- Location and Climate: This wedding venue is only 45 minutes from downtown Phoenix and Sky Harbor International Airport. People will be excited to get a break from colder climates and soak up that Arizona sun at your wedding.
- Endless Activities: You never run out of things to do at a Saguaro Lake Ranch wedding. You can enjoy kayaking and rafting on the Salt River, hiking, horseback riding, and stargazing in the Tonto National Forest.
If you’re looking for an Arizona wedding venue that makes it easy to enjoy Arizona’s gorgeous outdoors, Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch gives you that.
An Intentional Wedding Day
Rachel and Maddie’s Saguaro Lake Ranch wedding centered on their community. These marriers are all about their people, and they showed up big time to support them with the wedding.
One of the highlights of the day was that Rachel and Maddie managed to hug almost every single guest. They shared one on one appreciation with every person who came to their wedding. It was so much better than the stereotypical wedding where marriers are running around too much to be present with their people.
The first look at this wedding was so emotional. I may have cried more than Rachel and Maddie. When these two saw each other on the banks of the Salt River, they couldn’t contain their smiles.
A few highlights from Rachel and Maddie’s beautiful ceremony include:
- Their grandmothers serving as their flower girls
- A meaningful communion
- Happy tears flowing nonstop
After the ceremony, we noticed a storm rolling in. Rachel and Maddie had to make a game day decision about the reception. They decided to have dinner outside then move inside for dancing. It worked out beautifully! And Rachel and Maddie still got to enjoy the outdoor setup for their private last dance.
