Tucson Wedding at Wildhorse Ranch

My heart is still SO full from Emily and Ben’s Tucson wedding at Wildhorse Ranch. Their celebration was the perfect mix of timeless charm, personal touches, and strong community connections. As a photographer who values couples making their day uniquely theirs and highlighting their bonds with loved ones, this wedding is one I’ll remember for years to come!

Timeless Desert Romance

Emily and Ben picked the Oasis at Wildhorse Ranch in Tucson for their big day. Spread across 20 acres of lush desert, this property is actually one of Arizona’s oldest ranches! The historic venue combines rustic charm with modern amenities, all set against the sprawling beauty of Arizona’s landscape.

And the best part? The venue offers a variety of different spaces to match your style and preferences!

Emily and Ben decided to exchange vows on the beautiful patio area, surrounded by romantic lights, towering cacti, and breathtaking desert sunsets. For their first look and family portraits, they took advantage of the lush garden area. After their ceremony, they held their reception in the indoor area. This cozy space was complete with a dance floor, atmospheric lighting, and a rustic-themed bar. Each setting was the perfect backdrop for their beautiful day!

Making the Day Their Own

What I really loved about Emily and Ben’s celebration was how they made it their own—personalizing each element of their day. They opted for a first look and private vow exchange, creating a special moment for them to connect ahead of their ceremony. They also incorporated a unique unity ritual during their ceremony, where they planted flowers together in a commemorative pot. It was such a sweet way for them to symbolize their lives coming together as one and their shared journey ahead.

Emily and Ben also showed off their style through their decor, with a palette of timber green and deep purple, tons of greenery, floating candles, and rustic wooden accents. Each detail perfectly captured their personalities, creating an environment as warm and welcoming as the couple themselves!

Celebrating with Friends and Family

Not only was their celebration stunning and unique, but it was also overflowing with love—between both the couple and their friends and family! As a community-first photographer, and someone from a big family myself, I couldn’t get enough of this group’s amazing bond.

From Ben having his dad as his best man, to Emily’s emotional getting-ready moments with her parents and siblings, to Ben’s adorable niece stealing the show as their flower girl (she even caught the bouquet at the reception!)—there were so many meaningful moments that had me reaching for the tissues.

And we can’t forget that breathtaking bubble exit! It was such a heartwarming moment, as loved ones showered them with love as they stepped into this new chapter of their lives.

As your wedding photographer, I’ll be there to document all your carefully planned details and decor, but my main focus? Capturing the heart and soul of your love story and the beautiful bonds within your community. With Emily and Ben’s group, it couldn’t have been easier!

learn more about how I do this

With a background in filmmaking, my job is to approach your wedding like I would a film – balancing between the director and a fly-on-the-wall approach. My primary focus is on documenting all of the emotions in the room, that way in the end you get photos that reflect how the day felt, and not just what your shoes looked like.
