Stephanie and Chris had one of THE most cozy fall weddings I’ve been a part of. From their sweet rustic decor to the inviting warm color palette, and even down to their matching red hair, every detail had that comforting autumn energy that feels like a big hug.
But it wasn’t just the seasonal magic that made this day so special. It was the rollercoaster of emotions that Stephanie and Chris embraced from start to finish. As a photographer who lives for capturing every single feeling as it unfolds, I couldn’t have been more excited to work with a couple who were open and willing to share every bit of their raw, authentic feeling.

Let’s talk style and decor at Stephanie and Chris’ wedding – they absolutely nailed that blend of charming farmhouse and whimsical chic. Their venue, Serendipity in Flagstaff, was a perfect backdrop, surrounded by the changing leaves and picturesque buildings.
Plus, Stephanie and Chris added their own twist with elegant candelabras, a stunning macrame backdrop, and tons of candles and wildflowers everywhere you looked. And can we just take a moment to appreciate Stephanie’s orange nails? They were the perfect burst of color against the autumn backdrop! Every thoughtful detail they put into the day just added to the emotional connection between them. It was all so personal and full of heart, just like them.
Capturing Emotions in Every Form
From the teary vows to the giggles during quiet times, Stephanie and Chris rode the emotional rollercoaster throughout their wedding day and embraced every feeling without holding back. And don’t let Chris’s tough exterior fool you – deep down, he’s a big teddy bear! Especially when he saw Stephanie walking down the aisle, you could practically feel the love radiating from him.
One of my favorite moments was when the officiant, Jen, shared the story of their relationship. It felt like we were all part of this incredible adventure with them, soaking in every twist and turn that brought these East Coast lovebirds to Flagstaff, Arizona. It was such a genuine moment, with laughter, tears, and that feeling of being right there alongside the couple.
Those moments of pure emotion, whether it’s joy, nerves, or excitement, are what make a wedding day truly special. Feeling every emotion in its rawest form – that’s the real essence of the day. And my job? I’m here to freeze those moments in time so you can relive them all over again for years to come.
Celebrating with Friends and Family
Stephanie and Chris were the ultimate hosts, making sure their friends and family were front and center throughout the entire day. They didn’t just soak up meaningful moments together; they made sure everyone felt included in the celebration.
