The Little Daisy Jerome is a unique wedding venue in the Arizona desert. If you’re looking for a venue that immerses you in the Arizona wilderness while providing the comforts of a modern venue, the Little Daisy is a great choice. Elyse and Sunit’s creative wedding included some seriously sweet moments and fun rooftop photos.
Getting Married at The Little Daisy Jerome
The Little Daisy Jerome is a unique combination of event venue and hotel. When you arrive at the Little Daisy, you’re immediately struck by how much the building stands out from the rest of Jerome while also embracing its aesthetic. The two-story villa has a rooftop walkway and event space that nods to the city’s rich history.
Ceremonies at the Little Daisy typically take place on the rooftop. It has incredible views of the Verde Valley. The rooftop is unique in that it’s sectioned off by rustic adobe walls. There are conversation lounges, gardens, a covered walkway, and a ceremony spot. You could easily spend your entire wedding on the rooftop.
For receptions, you can use the rooftop or the dining room. The fully equipped chef’s kitchen makes catering easy. Some people choose to have dinner at a long table out front. With these views, it’s easy to understand why so many marriers opt for al fresco dining.

In 1916, a copper magnate commissioned the building of the Little Daisy Jerome. It operated for a little over thirty years before closing with the collapse of the mining industry in Jerome in the 1950s. An ambitious couple bought the property in the 1990s and spent 12 years restoring it. Another family purchased it in 2020 with the purpose of running it as a hotel and event venue.
Elyse and Sunit’s Artistic Wedding
Elyse and Sunit’s wedding at the Little Daisy Jerome felt relaxed and intimate. They started the day by getting ready at the venue. I love the big arched windows at the Little Daisy. It lets in so much sunlight and creates opportunities for cool photo compositions.
Once they were ready, Elyse and Sunit had their first look on the rooftop of the Little Daisy Jerome. They were so excited to see each other that they got me emotional. The rooftop was such a romantic setting, too. The terracotta, pinks, and earth tones felt so organic in the desert.
Their ceremony took place on the rooftop with a weathered wall behind them and strings of lights hanging over their guests. Colorful vintage rugs lined the aisle, and potted cacti stood on either side of the ceremony spot. Throughout the ceremony, you could feel how present their guests were with them. I loved photographing family and friends’ reactions to Elyse and Sunit’s vows.
Once the sun set, the party moved inside. The reception took place in the dining hall at the Little Daisy Jerome. Everyone felt bubbly and happy inside that cozy space. The warm wood and light fixtures add some elegance while adding to the inviting atmosphere.
Candid Wedding Photos in Jerome
Elyse and Sunit’s wedding in Jerome really suited my style of wedding photography. They spent so much of the day laughing and connecting with each other. I got to be a bit of a fly on the wall. While I did what I could to make sure their day stayed low-stress, they got to be present in the moment. Their day unfolded like the scenes of a movie – sweet, funny, exciting.
There’s so much to see at the Little Daisy Jerome that it would be easy to get lost in an endless shotlist. I focused on the authentic moments of connection between Elyse, Sunit, and their people. Real life was cinematic enough with this incredible backdrop.
