Jenni + Armani’s wedding at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale felt like them from beginning to end. They brought their closest people from around the world together for an intimate celebration in the desert and filled the day with color, personality, and plenty of room to actually enjoy it.
Their ceremony took place outside, surrounded by vibrant florals and the Arizona landscape, with their guests gathered close around them. From there, the day moved into an evening reception under twinkling lights, where Jenni changed into a second look, everyone settled in around long dinner tables, and eventually the celebration gave way to the kind of laughter, dancing, and energy you’d expect from a room full of people who genuinely know and love each other.

The Details That Made It Theirs
Color was woven through Jenni + Armani’s entire day, bringing so much personality to the natural desert setting. Their florals were bold and playful, filled with warm pinks, oranges, and corals that carried from the ceremony into the reception in smaller, unexpected ways. What made it work was that nothing felt overly coordinated for the sake of being coordinated. There were personal touches tucked throughout the day, from the cocktail napkins to the citrus worked into the tablescape, but together they felt more like an extension of Jenni + Armani than a collection of wedding details.
And some of the choices that made the day feel most like them weren’t decorative at all. Keeping the celebration intimate meant the people they loved were always close by, whether they were reacting from their seats during the ceremony, gathering around them later in the evening, or eventually ending up together under the lights for one big group photo.

From Ceremony to Celebration
The outdoor ceremony was one of those moments where the setting, the details, and the people all came together. Their guests surrounded the aisle, the florals framed the space, and when Jenni + Armani made it official, their people were fully in it with them.
As the sun went down, the celebration shifted into the reception. The tables were set, string lights came on overhead, and the polished details from earlier in the day gave way to a much looser energy.
Jenni changed into a second dress for the evening; the formalities were over, and we got to celebrate. That progression is part of what makes photographing an entire wedding day so much fun. You get the anticipation at the beginning, the emotion of the ceremony, the beauty of everything before anyone has touched it, and then the wonderfully lived-in version once the party gets going.

Surrounded by the People Who Know Them Best
One thing that comes through again and again in Jenni + Armani’s photographs is just how connected they were to the people around them. With an intimate wedding, there’s nowhere for those relationships to disappear into the background. The reactions are right there. So are the hugs, the inside jokes, the people reaching for their phones during the ceremony, and the friends who are clearly having just as much fun as the couple.
By the end of the night, everyone came together for one big group photo under the lights. It feels like a fitting snapshot of the whole celebration: Jenni + Armani at the center, surrounded by the people they chose to share the day with. Those relationships weren’t something happening around their wedding, they were part of what made the wedding theirs.

Jenni + Armani’s wedding is such a good example of what can happen when you choose the things that genuinely feel like you: invite the people you actually want beside you, bring personality into the details, and leave enough room in the day to enjoy all of it.
